2013 Leyda Sauvignon Blanc, Leyda Valley, Chile (Ryan)

Try this super value, rated 89pts and #16 on Wine Enthusiast’s “Top 100 Values List” of 2014, “Tropical more than green and pungent, this fragrant wine offers powdery, sweet notes and stronger coastal ones. Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone “Les Champauvins” 2012, Rhone, France (Ryan)

A standout by one of our favorite Rhone producers, Alaine Jaume , this wine drinks more like a “baby Chateauneuf” than a Cotes du Rhone.
