This domaine is still operated by the Prieur family after generations of winemaking in Sancerre, with 12 hectares planted to Sauvignon Blanc and 5 to Pinot Noir. The grapes are sourced from three different terroir: Terres Blanches, chalk-clay providing richness and body, Caillotes, pebbly chalk providing fruitiness, and Silex, flint which gives verve and minerality. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc shows fresh citrus fruit notes, vivacious in the mouth with a grounding minerally and just a touch saline finish.  Try with oysters, crab, shrimp, or even heartier grilled fish such as sea bass.
