The perfect party wine, this Prosecco is a light golden color and rich with aromas of flowers and orchard fruits, effusive with fine celebratory bubbles.  Made from the Glera grape, the wine is produced using the Charmat method of natural fermentation. Serve chilled as an aperitif, or with a wide variety of appetizers.

Joseph Burrier Chateau de Beauregard 2016 Pouilly-Fuissè, France (Tim)

Try this beautiful Chardonnay from Pouilly-Fuissè, a collection of communes in the southern Maconnais of Burgundy.  Exhibiting ripe apple, lemon, cream and brioche flavors, this full-bodied white is kissed by a deft touch of vanilla and toast from partial barrel aging but maintains verve and freshness! Enjoy with pan seared fish or bouillabaisse, or lobster. Rated 90pts by Decanter.

Cavallotto 2017 Freisa, Langhe, Italy (Natasha)

The fourth generation of the Cavallotto family is currently working the estate, perched on top of the famed Bricco Boschis cru of Barolo. Made from the Freisa varietal, this shows pretty red fruit, flowers and spice notes. Aged one year in Slavonian oak and exhibiting tannins and great acid, this would be fantastic with a plate of lasagna or pasta with Bolognese sauce. ORGANIC

Miguel Torres Cordillera de los Andes 2016 Carmenère Reserva Especial, Cachapoal Valley, Chile (Pat)

This bold, full-bodied red shows off the flavors typical of a reserve Carmenère, forest fruits, eucalyptus and leather, with additional notes of clove and black pepper. Aged for 12 months in French oak (30% new), this would nicely pair with roasted lamb or beef dishes.

Domaine des Tourelles 2016 Red, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon(Geoff)

The Domaine des Tourelles estate was founded in 1868 by Frenchman Francois-Eugene Brun but political turmoil ceased all wine production for many years. This wine, crafted from 40% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cinsault and 5% Carignan aged in French oak for 18 months exudes ripe dark fruit and a fresh, juicy core that will complement spicy chili or beef stew.

Nik Weis 2015 Alte Riben Riesling, Mosel, Germany (Jen & Jerry)

A whisper of sweetness accompanies this off-dry Kabinett Riesling, with good acidity; tangerine and lemon-lime notes delight the palate. Nik Weis, the third generation of his family at this Mosel estate notes that the extreme steep slopes, slate soils, and old vines (alte reben) make the difference in this complex and interesting Riesling. Enjoy with sushi or pork chops topped with sautéed apples and onions!

Dashe 2017 Zinfandel Vineyard Select, California (Tim)

You’ll love this lush, juicy, rich and mouth filling red made from 80% Zinfandel, 9% Teraldego, 5% Tannat, 3% Mourvedre, 3% Petite Sirah aged 14 months in French oak.  The aromatics are fragrant with black cherry, raspberry and pomegranate while flavors of black cherry and pomegranate are balanced by black pepper and clove delight the palate. This is a great match for Korean short ribs or barbecue chicken.

Pedroncelli 2015 Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma, California (Aron)

John Pedroncelli first purchased vineyards in Dry Creek Valley in 1927, and the family still runs the estate today. This vibrant red comprised from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec spends 16 months aging in a combination of French and American oak.  Sporting plum, cherry and blackberry notes, and a spicy, toasty finish, it will pair nicely with steaks, braised meats, or aged cheeses.

Bruno Verdi 2018 Sangue di Giuda “Paradiso” (Jen & Jerry)

This unique and delicious red made from 65% Croatina, 20% Uva Rara, and 15% Barbera is slightly effervescent and sweet with 9g/L residual sugar. The Sangue di Giuda (“Judas’ Blood”) can only be made from vines planted in Oltrepo Pavese within the Lombardy region where clay/limestone soils are prevalent. Serve chilled with cheese and charcuterie, or as an excellent accompaniment to fruit pies.
